Ministries

Kid’s World is the name for our ministry to children. The Kid’s Care (Nursery) and Kid’s Connection (pre-schoolers) meet for the entire time of the service on the stage. They are directed by Heidi Conner. Kid’s Zone is for Elementary age children. They begin in the service and then are dismissed part way through to go to their own class for a specialized teaching time.

Middle School and High School meet on Wednesday night from 7:00 – 8:00 PM at 3005 New Life Way. Larry Martin leads a group of young adults who work with our teens. Josh and Julie Martin and Jason Clark lead our youth ministry team call Generation Next!

The young and singles meet on Sunday nights at Pastor Bruce’s home 1723 Homestead St. Rachel Martin hosts this group and Larry and Mary Sue Martin teach it.

Reaching Higher Groups are our small groups. We believe these groups are the heart of growing into maturity in Christ. We offer several groups who meet throughout the city on various dates and times. These groups provide a place for in-depth study, a sense of community where you can develop close friends, and find a caring atmosphere. Most are open for anyone to attend at anytime, look for the current list in the bulletin, and call the leader for more information.

Our ladies ministry provides ladies Bible Studies, and a monthly meeting throughout the winter for fellowship and outreach. They meet regularly on the second Thursday of the month through the winter months.

We have several ministry teams who do the real ministry of the church. If you are not asked to be a part of one and would like to get involved in one, the best way is by filling out a connection card on Sunday Morning or by contacting Pastor Bruce.

Generation Next which includes 12-25 year olds in three groups. Youth meeting G> Y> M> (God’s Youth Ministry) is led by Josh and Julie Martin, and Jason Clark. This is Generation Next! The Happening is for those 29.5 and younger. It meets at Josh and Julie Martin’s home on Sunday nights at 7 at 2205 Jackson Heights Blvd.

We sponsor and are a part of a Relay for Life Team to help fight cancer.
